Basic structure

Rotor composition
The rotor part of the DC motor consists of armature cores, armature, commutator and other devices. The following describes the components of the structure in detail.
1. Armature core part: its role is to insert the discharge pivot winding and back-end magnetic flux, in order to reduce the eddy current loss and hysteresis loss that occur in the armature core during the operation of the motor.
2. Armature part: The role is to attack the electromagnetic torque and induced electromotive force, and carry out energy transformation. Armature windings have many coils or glass wrapped flat copper wire or strength enameled wire.
3. The commutator is also called the commutator. In the DC motor, its role is to convert the current of the DC power supply on the brush into the communication current in the armature winding so that the tendency of the electromagnetic torque is stable and constant. In the generator, it transforms the armature winding communication electromotive force into the DC electromotive force at the output of the brush.
The commutator is insulated from mica by a plurality of pieces of cylinder, and the ends of each coil of the armature winding are connected to two commutator pieces. The function of the commutator in the DC generator is to convert the alternating electric heat in the armature winding into a direct-current electromotive force between the brushes. Current flows in the load, and the DC generator outputs electric power to the load while the armature coil is also There must be a current through. It interacts with a magnetic field to produce an electromagnetic torque that is opposite to that of a generator. The original idea is to suppress this magnetic field torque to change the armature. Therefore, when the generator outputs electric power to the load, mechanical power is output from the original idea, and the effect of converting the mechanical energy into electric energy by the DC generator is completed.
